  • Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Jackson Metro Area, maintaining our mobile home communities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general carpentry, remodeling, and HVAC systems, and will be a reliable resource for all maintenance needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform general carpentry work, light electrical tasks, and basic plumbing repairs.

    • Address maintenance issues in mobile homes, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.

    • Assist with HVAC maintenance and repair work (certification required).

    • Respond to on-call maintenance emergencies after hours, when needed.

    • Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.

    • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.

    Requirements:

    • HVAC certification is required.

    • Clean driving record (no DUIs).

    • Clean criminal background

    • Experience with general carpentry and remodeling.

    • Mobile home maintenance experience a plus!

    • Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergencies.

    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random screenings thereafter.

  • Scope of Position:

    This position is responsible for assisting in the overall leasing and management of the Meridian at Fondren Apartments. This includes assisting in the marketing and promotion of the property, showing vacant units to prospective customers, maintaining 98% occupancy rate, responding in a timely manner to residents’ problems or complaints, collecting rent, filing judgments in court on late-paying customers, handling & depositing money, submitting reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions, creating a community environment which requires reducing turnover, ensuring prompt turnover when units become vacate, accounts payable, producing budgets, exceeding budget and NOI expectations, assisting with maintaining positive appearance of property, and being proactive on all matters.

    Position Schedule:

    This Leasing Consultant position is a full-time position. The regular hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 6:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 5:00pm on as needed basis. This work schedule is subject to change to meet operational or customer needs.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time (up to 6 or 8 hours, less break).

    Ability to walk the entire property.

    Ability to walk upstairs.

    Ability to withstand extreme temperatures.

    Lift up to 30 pounds.

  • StateStreet Group, LLC, a real estate investment company with properties primarily in Jackson, MS, and Nashville, TN, is seeking an intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity to work 40 hours per week during the summer and up to 15 hours per week during the school year. We are looking for a motivated student with an interest in real estate and a strong financial/analytical background.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct financial analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting

    • Enter data into databases and maintain accurate records

    • Assist with various aspects of real estate closings, including documentation and communication

    • Participate in property tours and site visits

    • Conduct research on potential investment opportunities

    • Provide assistance across different levels of management as needed
