Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Jackson Metro Area, maintaining our mobile home communities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general carpentry, remodeling, and HVAC systems, and will be a reliable resource for all maintenance needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform general carpentry work, light electrical tasks, and basic plumbing repairs.
Address maintenance issues in mobile homes, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
Assist with HVAC maintenance and repair work (certification required).
Respond to on-call maintenance emergencies after hours, when needed.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
HVAC certification is required.
Clean driving record (no DUIs).
Clean criminal background
Experience with general carpentry and remodeling.
Mobile home maintenance experience a plus!
Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random screenings thereafter.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Self-Storage Property Manager to join our team!
The Self-Storage Property Manager oversees daily operations of StowAway Self Storage in Canton, MS. Responsibilities include supervision of maintenance staff, property maintenance, customer service, rent collection, occupancy management, marketing, budgeting, and financial reporting. The manager ensures units are well-maintained and rented efficiently, meets or exceeds occupancy and NOI targets, and provides a professional, responsive customer experience.
Schedule:
Full-time. Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (reduced Saturday hours if occupancy exceeds 90%). Schedule may vary based on operational needs.Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations and staff
Maintain 95%+ occupancy and minimize turnover
Collect rent, pursue delinquencies, and manage accounts
Oversee maintenance, curb appeal, and safety compliance
Handle vendor management, budgeting, and purchasing
Promote the facility through marketing and advertising
Conduct property walkthroughs and ensure unit readiness
Submit reports and track key performance indicators
Requirements:
Strong administrative, accounting, and organizational skills
Ability to walk property, lift 30 lbs, and work in various conditions
Proficiency with Space Control, Excel, Word, and gate systems
Vehicle insurance with minimum coverage of $100K/$300K
Professional communication and customer service skills
Willingness to attend training, read management materials, and perform additional duties as assigned
