Matt Woods

Matt Woods serves as Director of Residential Operations and Business Development for State Street Group, bringing more than a decade of experience in multifamily property management and operational leadership across the Southeast. He began his career with Heritage Properties Inc. and Capstone Communities, where he built a strong foundation through hands-on, onsite experience across multiple markets.

Prior to joining State Street Group, Matt held senior leadership roles with Westminster Management, overseeing portfolios throughout Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida. Known for stabilizing underperforming assets and developing high-performing teams, he brings a people-first leadership style rooted in integrity, accountability, and long-term value creation. At State Street Group, Matt focuses on operational excellence, portfolio growth, and strategic business development in partnership with teams and ownership groups.
